Liquid Spirit Jazz Night

Live jazz with groove, soul, and serious energy.

Elvira Rey (short for Rejnowicz) is a Polish-born singer based in London and making waves there with sell-out shows at venues like Jazz Cafe Posk and Pizza Express. Trained on opera, musical theatre and pop stages, she has found a home in jazz and excels at presenting the story and feel of a song. She enjoys mixing classic standards, Latin jazz favourites in the original Portuguese, and a smattering of native Polish songs adapted for a jazz setting.

She is accompanied by Harry Dowell (tenor sax), Kev Sanders (bass), Tom Ball (piano) and Preston Prince (drums), a group that knows Elvira from other gigs and loves making her sound good!

Expect:

• A captivating multilingual vocalist
• Joyous swing and Latin music
• A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere
