The Moth Nationals proved to be another great success for the club, and very much enjoyed by the 30 plus competitors with some impressive images and videos available. Conditions over the four days were challenging for competitors, race committee, safety boats and especially the mark layers. There was no racing on Saturday due to the sea state, and we were pleased to be able to run 11 races overt the three remaining days, enabling competitors to count a second discard. The Grand Prix finish added a new dimension for the Race Committee team and with races lasting between 15 and 20 minutes they were kept busy throughout.
The event was convincingly won by Henry Wetherell with an impressive 12 points and discarding two second places.
