Torquay is easily accessible from both the M5 and A380. Only 190 from London and 185 miles from Birmingham. When arriving in Torquay follow road signs directing to the Harbour and Sea Front, and then follow signs for Beacon Quay as you enter the town.

By Rail

Torquay train station is approximately a 25-minute walk from the Club. There are limited direct inter-city trains to Torquay each day, often changing at Newton Abbott is the easiest option.

Car Parking

The Club is situated opposite Beacon Quay car park and have several other Torbay Council owned and operated car parks within a short walk of the Clubhouse. 

If you are joining us for a major sailing championship special parking arrangements may be in place, please check with the Race Office.

If you are staying in Torquay for longer than two days, the most cost effective way to park is to purchase a parking permit from the local council.

Please note there is no parking at the Club or on the street outside of the Clubhouse.

By Ferry

Brittany Ferries operate from Plymouth (44 miles from the Club), Poole (100 miles from the Club) and Portsmouth (160 miles from the Club) with services to and from Santander, Bilbao, Roscoff, St Malo, Cherbourg, Caen and Le Havre. Dover is 265 miles away for those using the Channel Tunnel or ferries from Calais or Dunkirk.

By Air
