Heavy Weather- The forecast is for 18knots SW with 25knot gusts. If the wind is higher than forecast may have to abandon, but we are trying our best to get a series end to the Sailing South West Winter Series. To that end we have decided to par the day down to just the pursuit race. This removes the need to lay marks allowing the ribs to be focused on patrolling the course.  Timings will remain the same with the first possible start at 10.45 and the racing to finish at 12:30. As always please make sure you fully understand NOR 14 “Risk Statement.” We look forward to seeing you in the morning.

Hello and welcome to the inaugural ‘Torbay Tornado’.

The Format is a tornado of races! We start with a 90 min pursuit Race ( average Time), this is a double points race, which will not be discard-able. Followed by 3 Sprint Races (Aiming for 15-20 mins each), split into fleets (Double and Single Handers).  Followed by Easter cake and Tea onshore for the results.

We are working in conjunction with Sailing SW as part of there winter series and this will be the last chance to put down a score. So come and join us for what should be a lot of fun, and a great way to work off those easter eggs!

There is a 100 boat limit.  We hope that the event will be successful and take up a regular spot on the calendar.   Feedback will be gratefully received!
