Members can book via their Smart Club Cloud account.\n			\n				Member's Click Here\n			\n				Non Member's Click Here\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				RYA Marine Radio will provide you with the knowledge to use a marine VHF/SRC radio. Your training will be followed by an exam to gain your Radio Operators Licence and will take place at the end of the training day. Subjects covered include basic operation of your radio\, important channels\, words and phrases\, the phonetic alphabet and distress calls. \nCourse pre-requisites: You must pre-register for your exam via the RYA website and bring your exam voucher with you. You must read RYA VHF Handbook prior to the start of the course (this will be provided when you book). \nYou will be required to book yourself onto the relevant RYA Marine Radio Short Range exam which can be found https://www.rya.org.uk/exams \nPlease note the exam is an additional cost made directly to the RYA \nCourse duration: 1 day \nMinimum age: 16 years \nTrainee : Instructor ratio: 1:8 \nProvided with the course: Books\, light refreshments \nYou will need: A recent passport photo\, writing materials and to bring your VHF handbook. \n  \nMember Price £90 \nNon Member Price £120 \nTraining courses are subject to last minute cancellation due to weather\, low uptake\, or unforeseen circumstances. If your course is cancelled\, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund. \nRefunds cannot be issued less than 14 days before the Training. You cannot reschedule a training session less than 14 days before the event.
