Members can book via their Smart Club Cloud account. \n			\n				Member's Click Here\n			\n				Non Member's Click Here\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				During this course you will learn to deal with different and more difficult situations like: \n\n Sailing without a rudder and sailing without a centreboard\n Launching and recovering the boat in different circumstances\n Stopping\n Reducing sail\n Recovering a man overboard\n Anchoring\n\nCourse pre-requisites: None \nCourse duration: 2 days \nMinimum age: 12 \nTrainee : Instructor ratio: 1:3 \nYou will need to bring: \nEssentials: \n\nWetsuit:  Staying warm will help you to concentrate on the fun stuff.\nSturdy footwear: sailing boots or footwear you don’t mind getting wet. You don’t want to stub your toe.\nWaterproof sunscreen and sunglasses floating or with a strap.\nHat: Baseball hat will keep the sun off your face and sun out of your eyes.\nWater bottle: Stay hydrated! Aim for a reusable bottle to minimize plastic waste.\nLunch and snacks: Pack light\, energy-rich foods that won’t get squished in your bag.\nTowel and change of clothes: It’s highly likely you’ll get wet – and most likely capsized! Be prepared to dry off and change into something comfortable afterwards.\n\nOptional but helpful: \n\nGloves: Protect your hands from rope burns and blisters. They don’t have to be sailing gloves\, any light gloves with good grip are ideal.\nWaterproof bag: Keep your valuables safe and dry. However\, any valuable items should be left at home or in the sailing club.\nFirst-aid kit: Always be prepared for minor bumps and scrapes.\nSense of humour and adventurous spirit: Sailing can be both challenging and exhilarating. Embrace the unexpected and be ready to laugh it off!\n\nMember Price £160 \nNon Member Price £210 \nTraining courses are subject to last minute cancellation due to weather\, low uptake\, or unforeseen circumstances. If your course is cancelled\, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund. \nRefunds cannot be issued less than 14 days before the Training.
