Saving Lives in Torbay – a talk by Mark Criddle OBE

Mark Criddle OBE, current Coxswain of Torbay Lifeboat gives a talk on his experiences with the RNLI.

HRH Prince William recently presented Mark with his OBE at Buckingham Palace for his enduring service to maritime safety. At the time of receiving his award, Mark had launched Torbay lifeboat more than 415 times since taking over the role of coxswain in 2002; including the dramatic rescue of the crew of the Ice Prince on the night of the 13th January 2008.

He is the RNLI's most decorated currently serving coxswain.

The talk will start at approx. 7:30 pm, with food available in the restaurant beforehand.
