An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 25, 2020
A comprehensive introduction to cruising for inexperienced skippers.
This course equips you with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. Basic knowledge of lights is also included, to provide an introduction to night cruising.
Taught over 12 sessions our Day Skipper evening classes provide the ideal way to accommodate a course which is usually a large time commitment around a busy life.

|Course Aims||To provide sufficient knowledge to navigate in familiar waters by day with a basic introduction to navigation lights for night cruising.|
|Course Content||The basics of seamanship, essentials of coastal navigation, chartwork, position fixing, plotting a course, weather forecasting, tides, collision regulations, construction and equipment of a cruising boat, emergency and safety procedures and equipment.|
